10 Tips for Preventing Theft of your vehicle.
1. Park in a well-lighted, busy area whenever you can.
2. Close all windows, lock all doors, and take your keys with you.
3. Never leave your vehicle running unattended.
4. Remove your keys while refueling.
5. Keep valuables out of sight and locked up.
6. Park with your front wheels turned sharply to the left or right, making it difficult to tow.
7. Use an anti-theft device such as a club or an alarm system.
8. Don’t hide spare keys in your car.
9. Use your garage at home and lock both the garage and your car.
10. Be observant for possible carjackers when you exit, enter and drive your car.
